The TDJ Special Projects are back!

I admit to being a bit distracted today due to at the city level, along with an impending deadline for a substantial grant application. So I've run out of time for a blog post of much substance. But hey - this is pretty neat-o:

The TDJ Special Projects are back!

TDJ Special Projects is an initiative created by Toronto Downtown Jazz (TDJ) to encourage the creation, development and presentation of special projects by jazz musicians in the City of Toronto. Through a juried process, successful applicants are awarded a bursary and obtain marketing and public relations support from TDJ.

The city of Toronto features one of the most vibrant jazz communities in North America. With the TDJ Special Projects initiative, Toronto Downtown Jazz provides support for some of the outstanding jazz musicians who work and live in Toronto, while at the same time establishing a year-round presence on Toronto’s jazz scene.

Submissions to the 2014 TD Special Projects Initiative are now being accepted. Got a great project coming up next year? Let us help you to promote it. Complete submission guidelines are available here.

Happy Hallowe'eeeeeeeen...
