Mario Rom‘s INTERZONE is one of the most promising trios in Europe‘s current jazz scene and has undeniably received a great deal of attention from critics and media all over the world in a very short time. Their unusual instrumentation (trumpet, bass and drums) has proved able to “spin virtuosity and humor into an entertaining whole” (Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung) and their surprising playfulness was described as „almost impossible to top“. Mario Rom, Lukas Kranzelbinder, and Herbert Pirker are playing jazz at 180%, as if their life hung in the balance every night and they’ve spread their unique live energy in Europe, Mexico, China, South Africa, and the USA in the past two years. In summer 2017 they are releasing their third album "Truth Is Simple To Consume" taking their already impressi-ve musical journey to the next level. So sit back and enjoy. Enter the INTERZONE – you won’t regret it.
