Niagara Jazzfest gives preview in T.O.

The TD Niagara Jazz Festival are celebrating their third edition July 29-31 and Toronto Jazz fans who have not yet had their fill by the time they're done with the TD Toronto Jazz Festival and the Beaches Jazz Festival, can take a ride down the QEW and hear more great jazz in a positively idyllic setting.

Niagara Festival AD Peter Shea and his crew did a little outreach to Toronto jazz fans last night with a preview concert at the Jazz Bistro featuring powerhouse vocalist Liberty Silver and the David Restivo Trio as well as guest appearances by three of the finalists in their youth programme and drummer Tim Shia of the Worst Pop Band Ever (who will be playing our big opening night party at Nathan Phillips Square on Friday June 24 at 7:30pm on the outdoor stage, just before the free show with KC and the Sunshine Band). Restivo will be playing with Dan Ionescu at Mezzetta on Monday June 27 as part of TD Toronto Jazz Festival and don't be surprised if he pops up elsewhere during the festival.

It will be a great summer for jazz fans, in the city and beyond!
