Eric St-Laurent

Born in Montreal, St-Laurent studied improvisation in New York City before moving to Berlin where he worked for a decade as a sideman to big and small names of the European music world.

After moving to Toronto, he started his own band and worked as a studio musician. His interest in the intersection of art and technology has led to recent recordings exploring common ground between composition, electronica and jazz.
