Carin Redman was born in Copenhagen, Denmark, one of the most colourful and expressionistic jazz capitals of the world. Moving to London, England as a child, her early jazz roots were further shaped by England's own flourishing musical landscape. The marriage of two such rich musical cultures are undeniably audible in Carin's powerful and silky vocals.


ClaireVoyance performs inventive revivals of some jazz standards, compositions by Joanne Brackeen, Chick Corea, Freddy Hubbard, Steely Dan, King Crimson, Heart, Supertramp, YES, ELP and many more.

Beverly Taft

Since 1995, Toronto-born Beverly Taft has performed regularly throughout Ontario, in Japan, and in select cities in the United States. Venues in Ontario include: Cherry Street Restaurant, Dominion on Queen, Homesmith Bar at The Old Mill, The Montreal Bistro, The Reservoir Lounge, The Rex Jazz & Blues Bar, U of T's "Friday Jazz at Oscar's" Series, and jazz festivals in Barrie, Markham, Muskoka, Orangeville, Orillia, Peterborough, and Southampton, as well as The Celebrate Toronto Street Festival, and the TD Toronto Jazz Festival - every year for at least eight years.

Her music draws from African traditions and elements of American soul, funk, rap, jazz, Brazilian samba, reggae, and Cuban and Puerto Rican salsa creating a perfect blend of world music that exemplifies unity, peace and diversity. This is the spirit of Africa.

Alex Pangman & Her Alleycats

Vocals/ Leader: Justin Time recording artist Alex Pangman has been called "Canada's sweetheart of swing." Her most recent album "33" pays homage to the songs of the 1930s, ably proving the music is still relevant & alive. Her style has all the vivacity and steppin' out glee of the Jazz Age & with a voice all her own, you'll hear influences of Kay Starr, a young Ella Fitzgerald, and Ruth Etting. Pangman is currently in the studio with Bucky Pizzarelli,
and has worked with Denzal Sinclaire, Ron Sexsmith, Jim Galloway, and Jeff Healey.

Nikki Yanofsky

From her auspicious start as the youngest headliner in the history of the Montreal International Jazz Festival at 12, Nikki Yanofsky has covered plenty of territory over the last seven years. She has topped both jazz and pop charts, performed with orchestras and big bands, and sold out festivals and major theatres around the world; in 2010, she sang to 3.2 billion people – half the world’s population – at the Vancouver Olympic and Paralympic Games.
