Christine Ghawi Trio

A Gemini award winning actor and singer, Christine is a true natural when it comes to performing and entertaining. Her charming stage presence and vast repertoire of classic jazz, blues, soft rock and pop songs from every era. Christine’s repertoire includes crowd favorites from Etta James, Ella Fitzgerald, Kate Bush, Joni Mitchell, Lauren Hill, Johnny Cash, Antonio Carlos Jobim, Buena Vista Social Club, The Beatles, Elvis, Bob Marley, The Doors, The Police, Dire Straits, and many more.

Errol Fisher

Errol lives to sing and sings to live. His heart tenderly touches every lyric and his warmth, charm and charisma always embrace his vocal renditions. Foremost present in his mind is his compelling delight to satisfy the audience. He is receptive to their enjoyment and relishes their energy. Everyone is Errol's "personal guest".

Errol comes to the music industry with a specialized and diverse background as both a performer and patron. He rarely misses an opportunity to visit local jazz clubs in Toronto.

BLU

Edward (aka BLu) is the youngest member of Blusoul, however as the Founder and Musical Director, he is also the driving force behind the band. When he’s not working or sitting around thinking of ways to boost his career or Blusoul’s exposure, he enjoys the little free time he has by being an avid sports fan.

Gary Gray

Gary Gray has played blues and rock piano in Toronto and across Canada for many years, backing many fine musicians along the way. Long time keyboardist for the Paul James Band, Gary has backed up such artists as Lightnin' Hopkins, Bo Diddley, Chuck Berry, and John Hammond to name a few.

Carissa Kimbell

Now a graduate of Mohawk College, Carissa has been submersed in the music of jazz for the past four years. She has studied with Ranee Lee, Carol McCartney, Pat Collins, Bob Hamper and the unbelievable group of educators and mentors that make up the remainder of the faculty at Mohawk College. Carissa has also sung for Norma Winstone, Don Thompson, Ranee Lee and Hal Galper as part of the many master classes at Mohawk College. Most recently, Carissa sang backup vocals in concert with Grammy winning guitar player, Larry Carlton

Joel Sheridan

One of Canada's finest classic jazz and adult pop vocalists, Joel Sheridan (previously known by the stage name Joel Hartt), evokes the best of the jazz-influenced pop singers of the 30s, 40s, and 50s. With his distinctive sound, and contemporary sensibility, he delivers fresh, swinging, and dynamic new interpretations of timeless classics.

Sheridan's eclectic and expansive repertoire includes jazz and pop standards, swing, bossas, urban blues, rarely-heard musical treasures, and his own original compositions.

Measha Brueggergosman

Canadian soprano Measha Brueggergosman crosses over into jazz in this latest project, performing a selection of jazz standards. Having cemented her status as a fresh and youthful ambassador for classical music that breaks the stereotype of an opera diva in every way imaginable, Brueggergosman is a force to be reckoned with. With an innate musicianship and voluptuous voice, she has emerged as one of the most magnificent performers and vibrant personalities of the day.

Buika

It has been said that; “Buika combines all the styles along with her emotionally charged lyrics and such broken sensuality in her voice, make her an unparallel artist.” Buika has no limitations when interpreting the different genres embodied in her discography, a fact reflected in the variety of her collaborations with musicians and singers whether in Spanish, Catalan, English, French or Portuguese.

Barbra Lica

Juno-nominated artist Barbra Lica is a Canadian singer and songwriter that has been receiving accolades for a unique approach that stresses subtlety, grace and storytelling. Based in Toronto, Barbra’s live show captivates audiences all over North America with her genuine warmth and confident stage presence. A seasoned act on the Canadian and American club and festival circuits, Barbra Lica has performed everywhere from New York City’s legendary Birdland to Toronto’s prestigious Koerner Hall.
