Bap Nouveau is a 3-piece based in Toronto, Canada.
Drawing on hip hop, jazz, and electronic music idioms, Bap Nouveau sits in the pocket and flows together through a mix of original and cover material. The trio uses a broad palette of synthesized and analog sounds blended with acoustic drums and electric guitar, to create immersive and inviting soundscapes at their live shows. Bap Nouveau is Jinu Isac, Cameron Tinklenberg, and Sean Clarey.

Jinu Isac is a drummer and pianist who has been playing professionally in cities across Canada, USA, and India for the past 17 years. He began playing Indian fusion and jazz music from a young age, and has since been playing jazz fusion, hip-hop, jazz, pop, Indian music, R&B, and funk with various bands such as: Slamborghinitheband, Nezqwik, The Delhi Express, Ravi Naimpally’s band, Snaggle, The Isac Band, Rinsethealgorithm, The Abeng, and the Spicy Jam.

Sean Clarey is a guitarist, producer, educator, and multi-instrumentalist. Sean attended Humber College and has performed alongside Larnell Lewis, Luis Deniz, Ahmed Mitchell, Andrew Stewart, Christian McBride, Larry Goldings, Donny Mccaslin, Lorne Lofsky, Ted Quinlan, Robi Botos, and other notable artists. Sean tours, performs, and records regularly with ‘ART the Band’, 'Shipley Hollow', 'Angles Jackson', 'The David Diao Quartet', 'Matt Lagan Group', and his own group. Sean has performed at Toronto TD Jazz Festival, Newmarket Jazz Festival, RCK Pro Jazz, CMW, NXNE, Indie Music Week, and other Festivals both Canadian and International. Sean began studying music formally at age 5.

Cameron Tinklenberg, a keyboardist, pianist, and electronic music producer originally from Wilmington, North Carolina, US is a very versatile and experienced musician who is relatively new to the Toronto music scene. Having performed and played a wide variety of musical genres such as jazz, hip-hop, reggae, funk, rock, blues, EDM, folk, and almost anything in-between, Cameron has had a broad musical career and continues to perform and play throughout Canada and the United States. Cameron has performed with many North Carolina based groups such as The Coastal Collective, Temple5, The Keith Butler Trio, The NuJazz Trio, Rebekah Todd & The Oddyssey, The Valedictorians, Heritage, and many others. He has also played alongside prominent jazz musicians such as Herman Burney, Delfeayo Marsalis, Joe Chambers, Matthew White, to name a few. He was the co-founder of The Coastal Collective and Temple5, which are two well known jazz/hip-hop groups in North Carolina. He composed music and performed as a keyboardist extensively at music festivals throughout the southeastern United States, and has had the pleasure of opening up for Lupe Fiasco, CeeLo Green, Nappy Roots, J-Swiss, Wordsworth, and many other prominent hip-hop artists. Cameron has been a part of tours across the US and currently stays busy pursuing his masters in Music Technology and Digital Media at The University of Toronto.
