Pudding is a Toronto based band that blends New Orleans funk, Chicago blues, Motown, rock and jazz into a swampy mixture of dance music that fills the soul. Just like your favorite childhood snack, let yourself peel back, dive in and enjoy.

Having all studied music and played in various groups and sessions throughout Toronto, it was only a matter of time before John, Justin, Lewis, Lee and Micah would sit in on a jam together and musical greatness would collide. Pudding was formed in 2012 and the band has been writing and playing music together ever since. Selling out shows all over Toronto’s club circuit, the band has developed a strong following within the City’s music community for high energy dance parties packed with deep rhythms and improvisation. Pudding’s members are all seasoned players, composers and arrangers including the former musical director of Second City, as well as, members from well-known projects like River Tiber, East of Avenue, Justin Nozuka and Danny Fernandes.

A mutual love of music and performance from New Orleans is the glue that keeps the grooves going and with an extensive repertoire of classic tunes from the swamp combined with their own original music, every show leaves you toe tapping and wanting more – but don’t take our word for it – come check it out live and you’ll see, the proof is in the Pudding!
